Dr Dalia Dawoud
Dalia is a Research Officer working in Professor Dyfrig Hughes’ group. She is currently working on the SYCAMORE Trial (an HTA funded RCT) which examines the clinical effectiveness, safety and cost-effectiveness of Adalimumab in combination with Methotrexate for the treatment of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis Associated Uveitis. She is also working on a review of NICE TAs of cancer drugs and has previously been responsible for reviewing the economic evidence submitted by pharmaceutical companies to the All Wales Medicines Strategy Group (AWMSG).
Dalia has a BSc in Pharmacy and a PhD in Pharmacy Practice and Policy. Her research interests cover a wide spectrum of pharmaceutical research including pharmaco-economics, clinical pharmacy practice and policy, prescribing and medicines utilisation.
She is an editorial board member for the Journal of Research in Social and Administrative Pharmacy and a reviewer for ISPOR conference and Value in Health Regional Issues journal.
