Project Summary: Developing a preference-based outcome measure. Generic preference-based measures of health, such as the EQ-5D are preferred by NICE, but are not sensitive to quality of life changes in all disease areas, such as Epilepsy. We propose to develop a new preference-based epilepsy-specific outcome measure that will enable appropriate health economic analyses of treatments and other interventions for epilepsy
