Health economics for environmental, sustainability and well-being projects within the context of One Health and Places of Climate Change research

Location:
Ardudwy, Normal Site, Bangor University. LL57 2PZ.
Time:
Tuesday 6 February 2024, 12:30–13:30

Building on growing research collaboration on One Health and Places of Climate Change (PloCC) across Bangor University and with outside partners, we are hosting a face-to-face workshop exploring how health economics methods can be incorporated into grant applications for research. On the day we will give an overview of methods of economic evaluation if health economics is new to you. If you have a project or grant application into which you would like to add health economics, or are already using health economics, please send a title for a 5-minute talk at this workshop. This could be a funded project already using health economics or an emerging grant application in which you would like to incorporate health economics. We welcome contributions from all Colleges across the University.

This workshop is open to all, including PGR students or any interested researchers.

A programme will be sent out in January. We anticipate this being an overview of health economics toolbox, an opportunity to hear from up to 10 short talks, followed by a clinic where researchers can discuss one-to-one their ideas for incorporating health economics into grant applications.

Please book your place via Dr Sofie Roberts s.a.roberts@bangor.ac.uk. Please contact Sofie to discuss a proposed title for a 5-minute talk, or if you have any questions.
